Volunteering for Special Olympics can create lifelong friendships and rewards of immeasurable value.
As a Special Olympics volunteer you will take pride in knowing that you are an important part of a
global movement that provides athletes with intellectual disabilities an opportunity to experience
the excitement, joy and personal fulfillment associated with sport training and competition.

Levels of Commitment
Whatever your interests, talents, background and availability, there are volunteer opportunities for
you at Special Olympics. Event-specific volunteering is a great opportunity
for individuals who want a limited time commitment. Of course, Special Olympics is more than just
competitions. Year-round volunteers help in various functions from
administrative assistance to coaching.

Special Olympics athletes work hard to overcome the odds, and they can do it — with
your help. They deserve the chance to compete, the chance to grow and the chance to lead
both on and off the playing field. Give them that chance and you'll find it will be an
incredibly rewarding experience for you, too.

As a Special Olympics volunteer, you'll not only be giving back to the community, you will
be changing lives forever — including your own.

If you are interested in volunteering with the local chapter please Fill out an online volunteer form or contact us
